As an animal lover, I cannot remain silent about the inhumane treatment of dogs used in scientific and regulatory testing. Why This Matters: In 2023, 2,456 dogs were used in over 3,700 scientific procedures, with many facing severe harm. Practices such as oral gavage, where a tube is forced down their throats multiple times a day, are just some of the distressing procedures these animals endure. This issue breaks my heart, and I believe it’s time to speak up for those who cannot.

The Petition: A petition is currently underway, calling for an immediate ban on the use of dogs in scientific testing. This is the first step toward ending animal testing, and your support is essential.
