This morning, I recorded a powerful meditation for a client—one that was deeply focused on healing buried trauma. It felt aligned, heartfelt, and complete. I was happy with how it turned out, and I sent my client a message to let her know it was ready.
And then, in a moment of complete accident, I deleted it.
Gone. Just like that.
At first, I felt that sinking frustration—why did this happen? I had put so much energy into it, and now I had to start over. But instead of getting caught in that feeling, I took a deep breath. My sister reminded me, everything happens for a reason. So I trusted that this wasn’t a mistake, set up my space again, pressed record, and let the words flow.
And you know what? The second version was even better.
Something about the way it came through felt deeper, more connected, more in tune with exactly what was needed. I truly believe that when things like this happen—when we’re forced to redo something—it’s not a setback. It’s an opportunity. A reset. A way for us to step into an even better version of what we originally created.
This experience reminded me of something I’ve seen time and time again, not just in my work but in life: when something is lost, removed, or doesn’t go to plan, it’s often because something even better is waiting to take its place. We might not see it in the moment, but when we trust the process, we realise that things happen exactly as they’re meant to.
So if you’ve ever had to start over—whether it’s a project, a plan, or even a whole chapter of your life—trust that there’s a reason. Trust that the second (or third, or fourth) attempt might just be the version you were always meant to create.
If you’d love a personalised guided meditation tailored to your healing, mindset, or personal journey, I’d love to create one for you. You can book a personalised meditation with me HERE and receive something uniquely made for you, with intention and care.
Everything happens for a reason—sometimes, we just need a little reminder to trust the process.
