A post I came across recently really triggered something in me. It was calling out Tarot readers and Reiki Masters, painting us all with the same brush and while I know it wasn’t aimed at me personally, it still made me feel like I needed to speak up. Not to argue, but to share my truth especially for anyone who knows me or the work I do.
Yes, there are scammers out there people who message strangers saying things like “You’ve got negative energy around you,” or “A curse has been placed on you send me money and I’ll clear it.” I completely understand how frustrating and damaging that is I get the same messages! Those people are preying on the vulnerable and they’re the ones giving this work a bad name. Ignore them and block.
But please know that those are the scammers. That’s not me. And that’s not what genuine healers or readers do.
I never reach out asking people for money or offering services uninvited. Other than an invite to my FREE Facebook group for Mindfulness people come to me naturally, when they feel a connection, and when they feel safe. Because I’ve worked hard to create something real, rooted in care and integrity.
And yes, I charge for my work – Tarot Readings, and Personlised Meditations – because this is my job. My time, energy and presence go into every session. If I didn’t charge, I’d have to work for someone else, coming home too exhausted to help anyone. But I’ve built something of my own that allows me to actually support people, and it means I get to show up fully and consistently.
But that’s not all I do. I have long-term clients, return clients, and beautiful souls who message just for a bit of advice or a chat and I never ask them for money. If someone’s struggling, I help where I can. That’s who I am.
I don’t have a fancy house or a big savings pot. I live from one pay packet to the next. Some days, I don’t even have enough for myself but I’m still happy. I’ve worked hard on my mindset over the years. I live in the present. I don’t carry the past or worry about what’s next. That’s why I stay positive. And it’s why I share what I’ve learned because I care deeply.
This post isn’t about defending myself it’s about backing myself. Gently. Honestly. Because yes, I do some of the things that were mentioned in that post but I’m nothing like what was described.
So if you’re looking for grounded guidance, a gentle space to land, or someone who truly cares I’m here.
You’re very welcome to join my Just Be Mindful Facebook group a free, supportive community where we share mindfulness, meditation, and gentle encouragement every day.

Sending love, always.
